Jaguar S-Type 3.8 M/OD

A complete nut & bolt rebuild on a superb original shell. Power steering & a Webasto sunroof.

All together make for a classy classic cruiser!

I believe the S-Type to be a much under-rated & under valued classic.

Acres of wood & walnut in a sports saloon that's fast & smooth.

This Mk 1 was pretty much a basket case!

Yes it is the same car!

It had been in the same family for over 30 years & so the owners really wanted it to go back on the road.

Every possible aspect of the car had to be overhauled - a long & slow painstaking operation - but we got there in the end!
This S1 3.8 E-Type took us over 2 years to perfect.

Fitted with a 5 speed manual gearbox, air-con, bluetooth & a host of other hidden extras it was built to the highest possible standards.

Best of all it wasn't done just to look at or show - It was done to drive! It gets hard fast use on a regular basis.

Series 1 XJ6 fully restored from an excellent original shell, new wings, sills & a full paint job

Uprated with S3 running gear & a bespoke grey leather interior including a super Hi-Fi & bluetooth system.

Definitely different....!
A series 2 E-Type DHC imported from the USA needed floor pans & some boot floor repairs. With a cylinder head overhaul & a new clutch it was ready for UK roads.
We built this 1965 Jaguar MkII 3.8 litre "Coombs" spec. rally/racecar replica.
Lightened & balanced 3.8 engine with big valve head and 2" carbs.
5-Speed Getrag gearbox, Polybushed suspension, uprated S3 E-Type brakes, LSD axle.
Electrically adjustable XJ6 seats, fully re-trimmed interior, Minilite wheels - the list goes on & on - A really sweet-driving car, & damn quick too!l
This SII E-Type FHC got a thorough going over in the body shop, new floors, sills, & a complete 5-star repaint for a County Durham based customer. Complemented by a complete interior re-trim and all re-chromed brightwork.

The end result, (after an awful lot of hard work!), a really stunning example that we are rather proud of.
Volvo PV 544, brakes & suspension overhaul, full ‘corrosion eradication’ treatment - and a full repaint for an East Yorks based customer.

Unfortunately we forgot to take any pictures of the finished article!

Jaguar MkII 3.8 - The Worcestershire based owner was unable to complete the rebuild of his car after having extensive body restoration done. So we were commissioned to reassemble all the interior & exterior, get it up & running, Mot’ed & happily roadworthy. It’s made a really lovely car.
We did a complete restoration on this Daimler SP250 Dart for the Cumbrian owner. The car had been in his family for many years but was in need of major work. We sorted the interior, the mechanics, rebuilt the engine, did all the chrome & trims. The result is a superb example which gets used extensively on a regular basis.
This brilliant XK 150 has had numerous alterations & upgrades including bespoke seating & a wooden dash fitted by ourselves.
It has been a ‘rolling restoration’ on behalf of the present local owner
Over the past 6 years every aspect of the car has been attended to, including a full engine rebuild & complete repaint within the last couple of years.
I found this rather smart but sadly neglected 420 G in a barn. It received full re-commissioning, with steering, brakes, bushes bearings etc rebuilt. It needed no body work or interior restoration & made a super driving, astoundingly original car - It even had the original steel brake pipes! It was sold to a Gentleman from London.
A full engine rebuild, & complete brake overhaul were among some of the many jobs we did on this fantastic XK120 it was one of those cars that just drove superbly & with the straight through stainless exhaust we fitted - the sound it made could only be described as ‘blood-curdling’!!
Another barn find, this Morris 1000 traveller had masses of history including the original bill of sale, it again was recommissioned, needing only light restoration to make a splendid example of this iconic utilitarian vehicle.
We rebuilt the interior of this Daimler V8 for a Gloucestershire based client, the front seats are fully electrically adjustable from a ‘95 model XJ6, the rear seats fitted with headrests all re-trimmed in new saville grey leather, the centre console was bespoke made & trimmed to match - the results? Rather smart don’t you think?
